The following individuals running for office have submitted their information for your consideration.

Jessica Lovingier, Gilpin County Clerk and Recorder 

The Clerk and Recorder is responsible for Elections, Recordings, Motor Vehicle and Clerk to the Board of County Commissioner.
 
Each of these areas requires a person who pays special attention to detail, has specific knowledge of the laws surrounding them and is committed to doing the job right.
 
4 years ago you elected me; I have provided you with the best staff and quality customer service in a timely manner, all with efficiency and accuracy.

The Clerk and Recorder is a great responsibility. When the State of Colorado required County Clerks to become certified in Elections, I obtained this state certification as well as becoming a state certified county clerk.
 
I have thoroughly enjoyed serving this community. I truly appreciate the opportunity and trust you have given me.

What have I given you?
 
· Extended office hours to 7:30 am to 5:30 pm every day in an attempt to offer every citizen more convenient hours to come in and see us. 
 
· $77,000 in grant money used to upgrade buildings; focusing on meeting ADA standards; new software and equipment in the Recording department. The Gilpin County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is on the fast-track to the 21st century.
I pledge again to continue quality service for the citizens and businesses in this county. I will be fiscally responsible and accessible to you!
